Founder/ Integrative Psychotherapist
In therapy, we begin to uncover the stories, relationships and experiences that have shaped you so you can meet yourself with more clarity, compassion and choice.
About Me
You may have reached a point where, from the outside, your life appears to be functioning well, yet inwardly something feels strained, unsettled, or difficult to make sense of.
Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same painful patterns in relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself, struggling with self-image, or carrying the impact of past experiences into the present. You may be used to coping, reflecting and holding things together, while still feeling that something deeper remains unresolved.
I work with individuals and couples who want more than surface-level coping. Many of the clients who come to me are thoughtful, self-aware and emotionally capable, but feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt, overwhelm, emotional distance or relational pain that do not shift through insight alone.
Therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin moving differently through your life and relationships.
How I Work
My approach is integrative, with a strong grounding in psychodynamic therapy. This means I pay close attention not only to what is happening now, but also to the underlying emotional patterns, relational dynamics and earlier experiences that may be shaping your present difficulties.
I also draw from humanistic therapy, Internal Family Systems and cognitive approaches, so that our work can respond to who you are rather than being confined to one model.
I have a particular interest in relationship dynamics, self-image, identity, trauma and couples therapy. I work with people who may feel caught in recurring relational patterns, emotional disconnection, shame, perfectionism or the lasting effects of painful or traumatic experiences.
I also support clients in exploring how culture, family messages, gendered expectations and early attachment experiences may have influenced how they see themselves and relate to others.
Couples Therapy
In my work with couples, I support partners who may feel stuck in recurring conflict, emotional distance, breakdowns in communication, or a loss of trust and connection.
Often, what a couple is struggling with in the present is shaped by deeper emotional histories and protective patterns that neither partner fully understands on their own. Our work together focuses on helping you make sense of these dynamics, communicate more openly and build greater emotional safety within the relationship.
Areas I Work With
I work with individuals and couples who may be experiencing emotional, relational or identity-related difficulties, including:
- relationship difficulties
- low self-esteem
- self-worth and confidence
- body image difficulties
- disordered eating patterns
- anxiety
- depression
- trauma and PTSD
- sexual violence and abuse
- religious trauma or abuse
- attachment wounds
- identity and cultural-related struggles
One-Off Sessions
Alongside ongoing therapy, I also offer one-off sessions for those who would like a focused space to think through a particular difficulty, try therapy for the first time, or receive support during a challenging period.
These sessions are reflective and contained, though they are not a crisis service.
What Therapy With Me Can Feel Like
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful and honest. I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels emotionally attuned, grounded and purposeful, where you can bring complexity without needing to simplify yourself in order to be understood.
Training, Qualifications and Experience
I hold a master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Wolverhampton and am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
I bring experience from diverse roles across mental health, trauma support and community settings. I have supported clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, body image difficulties, disordered eating, identity issues, religious trauma or abuse, and relationship difficulties.
I also work with survivors of sexual violence, offering trauma-informed therapy to help clients process the emotional and psychological impact of their experiences.
My background includes working in mental health services, supporting individuals during acute mental health crises, as well as working with people managing long-term mental health conditions. This experience has deepened my understanding of diversity, culture, emotional complexity and the importance of adapting therapy to each individual client.
